Anyone else worried about getting sick?

I can't get the worry out of my head abotu getting sick. I have this fear that I am going to come down with the flu the week of our wedding! I had a really bad summer cold last year the week of our wedding that gave me a fever and I am petrified that I will get it again!! Anyone else have this annoying fear? Obvious, I can;t control it but i am still so worried about it!

I worry about getting sick but I am trying to keep it out of my head. I feel like if I stress myself out too much I will wear my body down and then I will be more susceptible to getting sick. I am sure you will be fine!!

Try not to worry about that.. I doubt you will get sick! If you stress about it alot tho you might so stop!!

You will be fineee. but yes I know what you mean I worry about it too.. I usually get sick at the end of summer begging of fall. So glad I picked the end of september

I got a cold the week before the wedding. I'm sure it had to do with stress, not to mention dealing with lots of customers. Three days before the wedding I begged the doctor to see me. He didn't know what it was so he gave me antibiotics and I slept that whole day. Luckily, the next day, I was nearly better. It was truly my worst nightmare to be sick that close to the wedding!

I'm totally worried about getting sick!!! I keep taking lots of vitamin C. I have no idea if it'll work.

The only good thing is that I rarely get sick in the summer -- just allergies. (Although I don't want those kicking in either!) ::knock on wood::

i have to agree with the girls! if you worry or are stressed you're more likely to get a cold because you run yourself down. just yesterday all of a sudden i came down with a bad headache and was queazy ( to put it mildly) i feel better today, but really believe that's my body's way of say slow down, don't stress...

think positive! and you'll be perfectly fine :o) !!! don't worry, be happy!

I ended up needing a root canal 3 days before the wedding!!! I was so miserable about it but it ended up being ok. I wouldn't stress whatever happens happens and you'll live through it.

I'm worried, because I usually get sick that time of year, and I get really run down with stress, and it's a really stressful time of year at work for me too.

Yup! I always get a cold and can't sleep before big events. I've actually been really excited b/c last week I got a bad cold and I'm hoping that maybe I won't get another one next month. Who knows!

On a positive note, a girl in my office had an awful cold on her wedding day but she said that the adreline and excitement made her forget all about it for the whole day.

I've also heard a lot about people getting sick on their honeymoon once all the stress of the wedding day ends.

OMG! This is my new stress.. esp yesterday I was so hot cause it got humid around 5pm and I had on my rain boots that are really warm and bulky so I go to Kleinfelds for my dress fitting and they have the AC on full blast in the alterations floor.. i swear I was shivering by the time I left and when i finally went outside I had the chills and it was still humid out, so that is not good.. Then my throat started hurting.. so I dont want to get sick
