I know this has been asked before but I am super worried that I won't have enough money on the day of the wedding. It seems that there is always 'something else' that comes up that is going to cost another 500- 1000+ more.
I can't sleep at night. I seriously toss and turn. All of my money is going toward this wedding and anything associated with it.
If FH knew any of this the wedding would be cancelled and we would get married at JOP. I don't want that to happen.
*** You know- I rarely freak out about things bc I believe in fate and destiny- Karma. Plus one good night in AC and i'm golden! I don't think about it constantly but it comes in waves. I think bc I realized that Christmas will be here before you know it and there are weddings and birthdays comming up. I think i'm just going through a stress period.... and this too shall pass!!!

I worry about it-I know FH does too, but dont worry about it! YOu will get the money together with no problem. I just keep telling myself that its what we want and we will get it together and everything will be ok.....doesnt always help though

i'm feeling you, even with the cutting corners and things i'm saving on i'm still worried with how i'm coming up with this money in what 7 monhts.. i have absolutly no idea. and with me student teaching for 4 months its gonna be even harder

We are getting married on the same day! It's just that I still have to find centerpieces, shoes, undergarments, jewlery, order my dress, buy this, that, and the other thing.
I am saving 1300.00 a month and I still don't think that's going to be enough! You know when I think I'll be OK? When I know exactly how many people are comming to the wedding. That's a difference of 3K- 4K.

We pretty much have budgeted ok for everything except for our flowers....we didnt think the price of our flowers would be so HIGH but because we are getting married 2 days after valentines day its really going to kill us....so with that I am afraid we will not have enough money for tips and all that.... UGHHH
But I just keep telling myself everything will work out...

I know how you feel!! I was up at 1am this morning trying to figure out money for the wedding. My FH got up and asked me what I was doing and told me I'm crazy lol that's all I think about every single day is AM I GOING TO HAVE ENOUGH MONEY FOR THIS WEDDING? I'm so broke from this wedding and I still have 8 months to go on saving! Everyone keeps telling me things will be ok and you WILL have enough. So just remember that everything will fall into place:) GOOD LUCK!!

It's always on my mind...paying for this wedding seems like an unachievable goal sometimes...it's just SO MUCH $$ that has to be saved and allocated for one thing in a relatively short period of time. I know FH worries too....he's become an adding machine, constantly calculating and refiguring an imaginary number that has to go towards this....I'm sure that there will be some last minute costs to add on, and we're trying to save more than we need for the wedding....

Try not to worry so much, you don't want to get sick over it. Yes, I worry about it too, but I try not to obsess over it. Although I probably will more next year. Thats when I'll really need sedatives. Xmas is going to be quiet one this year. We are both on money diets. We are just doing 1 small b/day & xmas gift for each other this year. I'm talking spending $50 max for each other for each holiday thats it. I also told FH no golf next year. Its too expensive of a hobby.

That's great! Cash money! There is nothing wrong with that. Every bit counts. I started doing a side business but it hasn't really blossomed yet. I'm gonna be thinking of you 226 days from now!

you are not alone. i worry too.
just an extra piece of advice...since all the ladies are saying the same things--and understanding. when it comes to x-mas and birthdays from now till the wedding.....it may be tough, but you just have to say to yourself, 'Just can't spend $$ on gifts this year' family & friends will undertsand if you can't give like usual.
x-mas is 2 months b4 my wedding, and my gift list is usually about 40 people (cause i have a HUGE family). this year....it's almost non-existent. i'll be making lots of cookie platters and baked goods and saying 'I.O.U.' does it suuck a little? Yes. but will i let it get the best of me? NO!

I feel the same way - such a great thing to get married, yet so much stress! FH is currently changing jobs and is waiting for something to come through, and I'm student teaching (which means no $$!) I can't believe we are getting married in 7 months, starting a whole life together, and neither of us have a job. Fate better kick in soon!!
