I've been charting for a couple weeks now and my BBT is all over the place. My temp has ranged from 96.20 to 98.56 and is in no particular pattern. My chart looks like a heart rate chart!!
I'm taking the temp at the same time almost every morning (missed a couple weekend days) and using the same basal thermometer.
Anyone else experience this?

Give it some time to get used to it :)
Some tips: Make sure you take your temp before even getting out of bed, like, when you are still asleep almost.
Drinking alcohol the night before can raise your temperature.
Mine range from 96.9 or so to 98.3 as the highest, but there is some pattern to it.

I charted for 3 months, taking my temp when the alarm went off and has the same results - ALL OVER THE PLACE.
I gave up and bought the Clear Plan monitor.

my bbt was pretty high today, but I know I'm not O'ing so it's probably from the alcohol last night. Only had a couple drinks though. SO I'm going to pay more attn to my CM than my temp. I'm just doing the temp to see if I can find a pattern (if it takes more than a month to get pg). But I think the temp is only good to see when you O, then its too late to BD anyway.
