stuck working at this crane accident. FH is an EMT and has been sitting there all day on standby. They're not allowed to do anything but sit there. He can't even call me b/c al the bosses are around and he'll get in trouble. And he's stuck doing OT. They haven't had any breaks.

Well - Im proud of your FH - it might drive you nuts - but its his job as an EMT - and not everyone can cut it as one. They are lucky to have him if need be.
Alot of respect to those that help and protect and serve us.

thanks! It's just frustrating when he gets stuck on these jobs and I can't communicate with him.
Oh and he always manages to get put on these big 'events' that happen.

he's on a HazMat unit. So he gets all kinds of scary jobs.
