Anyone else's parents or FILs invite someone you specifically told them not to?
My FI's dad conviently 'forgot' that we told him that we didn't want to invite a particular person, and asked him if he got his invite yet! FI has told his dad repeatedly that he doesn't want to invite this person, but his dad did this thing that he does where he doens't remember things he doesn't want to - certain things don't stick in his head.
The problem is that FI's dad works with this person occasionally. And that the person probably won't come anyway, so it almost is a moot point. And we don't want FFIL to lose work. But we're *so* annoyed!
Any thoughts?
