St. Thomas, USVI? We were there briefly on a cruise, we don't know much ecept we want to go back.
If yes:
Where did you stay?
Would you reccommend it?
How's the night life?
Fav. part of the trip?

Re: anyone ever been to :
I was there many years ago for one of my family trips, and we stayed at The Frenchmen's Reef and it was absolutely beautiful, I loved it there. I can't say much about the nightlife because I did not do much at night cause I was younger and with myfamily, but would def. reccommend this hotel, it was beautiful!

Re: anyone ever been to :
Wyndham Sugar Bay is really nice. They have an all-inclusive plan, which is nice. It sits on a cliff, but there is a nice beach below.
If you're talking about a honeymoon, maybe check out the Ritz-Carlton there. It's absolutely amazing!

Re: anyone ever been to :
we stoped there however we were there on a hoilday so everything was closed....that day we relaxed on the boat
from what we saw, its a great place to be....i believe for a cheap fair, you can go to the other side of the island (british) and do more stuff too.

Re: anyone ever been to :
We stayed there a couple of years ago, at the Elysian Beach Resort. It is a nice place but you CAN NOT have the typical NYC paced attitude. The customer service is really different, we would wait for 30 minutes before we were even given a menu. In regards to the actual island, the beaches are truly beautiful. You can take a ferry to St John which I also recommend. Everything on ST.John was pretty expensive however. All inclusive is a good idea. I didn't do that and would blow 40 bucks on french fries and chicken strips for 2, which is crazy! In order to decide where to stay try reading this: www.tripadvisor.com
it has alot of reviews on the hotels.

Re: anyone ever been to :
We went about 4 years ago.... and personally i thought it was very beautiful... The water was so calm where we stay... (which the name escapes me at the moment..... but it was something with Secrets.. Something...) Anyway, the people are very very relaxed and laid back. The jewelry shoipping was great and depending on where you stay we at at the Marriot.... and the Ritz Carltun..... they were absolutely amazing... there isn't much of a night life, but it is quiet and romantic.... It really depends on what your looking for. They do drive on the opposite side of the road,,,, so be careful... It is easy to rent a car and its pretty much safe from what I found it to be. I hope this helped.
