I was in Costa Rica at the end of April 2005 and there wasn't many bugs. April is right before their rainy season begins and there still wasn't many bugs at all. Lots of lizards, cool looking lizards and monkeys and tropical birds. It was beautiful. We stayed at The Paradisus which is on the Pacific Ocean side-the hotel was gorgeous-its all inclusive. If you go definately do the zip line tour-you fly from tree top to tree top over the rainforest on a zip line just like the monkeys-it was freakin awesome!!!
