How are they? I was thinking of surprising DH with a pair of tix as part of his bday present....he's a baseball fanatic.
I'm just wondering if it's a good game to watch?

i love them! they are fun! we have gone a few times - one of the guys on the team is a firend of ours from college too - it is much 'homier' than shea or yankee stadium and really enjoyable! everythign is more affordable and they have all kinds of games and promotions going on during the innings....i highly recommend trying it!

they have a box office or you can buy online through their web site and be re-directed!
I was at one. It was a fun time. It is pretty close to where I live too. From what I heard though, they are sold out all season.

I've been bc FBIL's company gives him tix every now and again. It's a great time. Jennbaby, it's in Islip. The tix are REALLY HARD to get.

Yes! They are a lot of fun. My Dad works at Cablevision and I have gotten tickets through him and Gary's old job had box seats as well. Much more intimate than Shea and really fun. I bet your husband would love it Teri.
The field is in Central Islip.

We have tickets for the 4th of July and then they are having a fireworks show! We get them through Cablevision also

The games are fun but LONG. They do all these kiddie activities inbetween innings which it great for the kids but makes the games go on FOREVER. I went to a game last year that after 2 hours was only in the third inning!

ugh - that's disappointing to hear 9 innings is long enough with a regular game!
