I have to go for the 1st time on monday and am having panick attacks over it lol
i slipped on ice outside of a resturant last month and have 2 herniated discs and 2 pinched nerves.
Im sooooooo scared theyre gonna start poking me with needles and stuff lol

I have a neurologist for my MS , but never been to a neurosurgeon :(
good luck and maybe some Valium for the panic attacks?

Hey.. don't freak out. Usually they will do an EMG/nerve conduction test (with needles) only if they think there could be nerve damage and if you experience severe muscle weakness. If it is just herniated discs and pinched nerves, they usually won't do it because these things can be resolved on their own. I hope this helps.

yay thanks girls. im not as nervous now. but i'll still pop a xanax monday morning before i go! lol
me and mommy just looked at the films from my MRI and laughed at how F'ed up my back looks lol
will be an interesting law suit.
