I've been to Vancouver and Seattle - both great cities. There's also a waterfall in Washington not too far from Seattle called Snoqualmie Falls - it's gorgeous! You can walk down to the bottom (remember you have to hike back up) and walk as close as you want to the bottom of the falls. There's also a hotel at the top of the falls which might be a nice place to spend the night (I just took a day trip there). Vancouver has lots of things to do, including parks and tours.
I lived in Yellowstone Park for awhile....Wyoming and Montana are truly beautiful too!
Portland is beautiful too. I went to a wedding there last September and we took one day to drive on the Historic Columbia River Highway (the river seperates Washington and Oregon) to Multnomah Falls and along the way there were 7 more waterfalls, each one better than the next. And of course there is Mt. Hood. It's all breathtaking.
I've been to Washington, Oregon and British Columbia a few times each. GREAT places. We're going back to Seattle in October. What kind of info. are you looking for?
