Hi, I'm new to the boards and need some advice. I would like to cancel my florist and I'm like four months away from the wedding. Has anyone ever done this? How did you approach it?

Yes. One month before my wedding, I canceled with my florist. I went in talking about my concerns over my contract (this is a long story). When we could not agree, there was yelling. He said, 'You're free to leave at anytime.' I said thanks, I was going. I scrambled, but all the other florists on LIW were quick to offer help. Two in particular were very good to me, Florisan and Expressions. Four months is plenty of time to find another florist. Good Luck.

How about your money??? I'm not worried about my deposit because it was only $190...I'm more worried about the fine print at the bottom...if we cancel less than 4 months away it says you're responsible for 40% of the quoted total....

we did this - just go in and cancel ask for your deposit back and say you changed your mind
