Anyone ever considered have a Brunch Reception?

Has any of you thought about having a brunch menu instead of a dinner... would this be cheaper... as anybody inquired about this?

Prices?
Place?

Was just wondering.....

I think it would definately be cheaper than having a dinner.

Would this be a brunch menu at night, or during the afternoon? Personally, I love breakfast for dinner. So if the hall lets you do that, that would be cool.

I considered it because we knew we wanted a daytime wedding with a small guest list... less than 100 (wanted only 70 or so). With those numbers I thought my only option was going to be a restaurant.

Luckily I found a hall for July 4th (Monday) that would lower our minimum.

We are doing a Sunday brunch RD at Nocello's in Northport for at least 1/2 the price of most places for a dinner.

FM me for price.

I'm doing a breakfast/brunch at the Snapper Inn. I also looked at Chateau La Mer. FM for prices.

we looked into a brunch reception and it was MUCH cheaper. as it is now we are having ceremony at 11, ch from 11:30-12:30, and reception 12:30-4:30 so we are having a dinner during the day. by doing this we saved probably close to $30pp!!!

I went to one last summer at timber point. It was a brunch buffet and was pretty nice. I know that it was cheaper then having a dinner wedding.

We went to a brunch wedding at the Milleridge a few years back. They had a nice spread. It was for a 2nd wedding.

I attended a lovely brunch buffet wedding reception a few years ago. The food was great (I love breakfast food!), but they had steak and fish dishes as well.

Were all these brunch receptions during the day?

My FH and I were daydreaming about having brunch served at our reception, but for dinner! Do any halls do that?

The one we went to was during the day. I think it started at 11am, and they got married at the place.
