Anyone ever feel nervous about wedding related decisions?

I'm really concerned with getting the look I want as far as flowers. I brought around twenty different pictures to our florist to show what I liked/didn't like. I'm looking over my contract now and wondering if I made the right decisions... a lot of the flowers seem to be orange and while orange is definitely the main color, I dont want it to be monochromatic.

I guess its because we still all have so much time, but do you ever second guess your decisions or get nervous that you didnt make the right decisions?

I dont know why I'm freaking out today, but I am.

When you did the contract did you pick the flowers already? With mine we just know we are using ALOT of wild flowers but, didnt pick out everything just yet. I am using fall colors as well, if you want I can email you lots of pics that I have.

YES!!! i feel like that with a few different things. in fact, i was working on our color collage for the first time this evening and second guessing my colors!!!!! even though i went over with the florist all of the colors i'm looking for, which flowers i want to use, etc. i definitely think, with all the possibilities, it's easy to second guess whether you made the right decisions or not. but you have so much time that there's time to change it, right? those flowers aren't set in stone! don't worry!

Thanks! I was actually googling the flowers and a lot that I was coming across were the same color and I started to really freak out. I trust the florist I chose and I would HATE to be the bridezilla who calls and asks a thousand questions to calm my nerves.

I'm so glad I'm not alone in this. You dont know how much better you just made me feel!

I'm actually lucky though, since I can't do my sample centerpiece any time of the year (since the flowers are all seasonal), John from Flower Michele said I can come in this October to see it so I'll have lots of time to change things if necessary.

that's GREAT! i think the sample is REALLY going to put you at ease! you're going to see exactly what you'd be getting and if you don't love it, you're absolutely entitled to change it! I'm also doing a sample this May with Verbena Designs and it makes me so much calmer knowing that I'll get to see it a year beforehand and can make changes.

yea im definately that bridezilla that called the florist about 6x already (only booked 1month ago) and have asked many questions about the arrangements and seeing a sample and colors and options - im sure that they get this all of the time - and once you have your sample in front of you im sure you will love it - hopefully they will let you take it home and put it on your kitchen table so you can look at it for a day or two and see if it grows on you

seriously this whole wedding planning process is like that

there are so many decisions to make

i second guess myself all the time! even with vendors i LOVED i start thinking and then i think maybe i made the wrong decision?? i think its all part of the whole process. we will all be OK!

I'm always nervous about almost everything!!!

I would express my concerns to the florist too - b/c I am crazy like that - If I am paying someone a lot of money I am going to get what i want!! And if not - no-one will be happy!! (especially them )
