Anyone ever get sick of wedding planning?

I definitely am at that point right now. Between going to weddings and showers, doing stuff constantly for my sisters shower, buying gifts and and dresses, etc. I am soooo done. It's just like it's been overkill with the wedding stuff recently and it's getting a little old. lol

I know once things calm down I'll get back into the swing of things but at the moment I just want my normal un-wedding related life back!

Anyone with me or am I alone on this one?

I think it also depends on the amount of time you have. I've been engaged almost a year so the novelty of wedding planning has worn off. There are girls on here who just got engaged and clearly they're not sick of wedding planning yet.

yea i definitely agree with the whole time thing. by the time the wedding comes around I'll have been engaged for over 2 years, so it's normal to hit some points where you're like ENOUGH ALREADY!

I think it also might have to do with the fact that I haven't done anything for my own wedding in about 2 months or so because I've been so caught up with doing stuff for other weddings.

I have been engaged for 4 years lol but i really just started booking and planning since Jan i just love ll this stuff and i guess since i am doing ALOT of diy stuff thats whats keeping me excited and occupied lol its fun!

I totally agree with this...I am afraid that when all is planned, I will be bored and sad I am out of things to plan...

I def. know what you are talking about. Why do you think my STD's have been sitting on my dresser for a month and I haven't booked a florist yet..lol I need to get back into it.

ugh it definitely has to do with how long we have been engaged

i wish i were rich and that way i could have gotten married months after our engagement. . . now its been a year and a half and i still have six months to go and i am so over it!

Yes I agree! I just want to be married to the love of my life! I feel like all this planning is like another job and is very exhausting! But, than again at times I'm loving it!!!!!

lol.. i get like that too sometimes... I mean yes it does get frustrating and stressful and there are certain days when i'm like that's it.. no wedding stuff today.. but i don't have many of those.. I've always wanted to get into event and weddding planning... so doing this is soo much fun to me.. even with the stressful days! Once it's all done i'm gonna miss it!!!!!

So far so good I love planning. I get stressed when the FH is a pain about things, if he would just listen to ME things would be a lot less stressful.
