DH and I are thinking of it as a quick little getaway in April. We're going to Hawaii in the summer (to visit family) but want a quick trip in April. Anyone stay at the Fairmont Southhampton? Recommend any other places for a quick getaway that is warm and not expensive? THANKS!

I've never been there, but I read a guidebook about it. It said that the island is really tiny- like 20 sq miles, and that onyl residents are permitted to have cars. Tourists use the bus, a taxi, or rent scooters/mopeds to get around. There's a show called $40 a Day about local restaurants and food that you'll probably find useful: $40 A Day -Bermuda

We went 11 years ago on our 1st anniversary. We went to the Elbow Beach Hotel beach and even though we didn't stay there, I would stay there if we ever went again. We LOVED Bermuda and would go back again.
