I always thought you're not supposed to see FH the day of the wedding but my FI is insisting that it is the day before too (which will be Thanksgiving).
Is it bad luck to see FH the day BEFORE the wedding?

really? i always thought it was a few days before - we are doing the week before because of the holiday

I think it depends on the tradition. My friend is really religious (Jewish) and she wasn't allowed to see her husband for a whole week before!
I haven't head of the day before though. Sorry I couldn't be more help!

The day before is fine it 's the day of. Me and FH are just not spending the last few night together...but we'll see each other during the day.

i spent the entire day before w/him..there was a lot of runing around that needed to get done....but even so, i would have seen him...

the day b4 is fine.....i think its that night and the day of the wedding is when you arent 'suppose' to be together!!

I think seeing him the day before is ok but I think the tradition is not to spend the night together to avoid seeing eachother the day of the wedding.

I think you are only supposed to not see him the day of the wedding. We are having a day wedding so that is the only reason we are not seeing eachother the day before.

yes, typically the rehearsal is the night before...i take that back, TRADITIONALLY...considering the more common ceremony AT the RH, typical has a new meaning.

Don't belive everthing you hear. It's not the things you do before the wedding, it's the things you do after the wedding that brings the bad luck. respect each other for this day forward.

hey i never heard of that - i wouldnt worry about it
my brother has his RD the night before and i know a lot of people do it that way. . .i personally am not doing it the night before either but i plan on seeing FH - i say as long as you dont see him after midnight you are in the clear!
