If so, what is it exactly and when does it occur at the reception? My dry cleaner was telling me her son got married and had cigar hour. She wanted to know if I was doing it too? I didn't know the catering halls let you smoke indoors...

Re: Anyone ever heard of Cigar hour?
I would never, I think I would have too many guests complain and not enough cigar smokers anyway.

Re: Anyone ever heard of Cigar hour?
I'm having a cigar roller. Land's End has a cordial room that we open up at desert. I am going to put him in there, but then everyone has to to smoke outside on the deck (there is one off of the cordial room, as well as by the water). But I am not dedicating a special hour to it, it's just going to be part of the 'wedding flow'.
Edited for poor spelling

Re: Anyone ever heard of Cigar hour?
the carlyle lets you add it as an option for after the reception. you can choose from certains bands - jazz, etc and they walk around with hand rolled cigars and offer cordials, etc. i also call it they 'guy hour!'
