When you and FH / DH first started dating? Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't change things now for the world, but, every so often I think of the little things that we did then and it makes me smile...

Re: Anyone ever miss...
Of course! It was so much fun, we were like little kids I do miss those days, don't get me wrong, I love him now but it seemed so magical. Also, we didn't have the worries that we have now which allowed us to not care of what went around us. Time has changed, we are older with responsibilities, but we still manage to have magical moments. Just last week he surprised me to a candle lit dinner and with strawberry covered chocolate and ran me a hot bath, and so forth It's great when you can still keep up with surprises.

Yes it was a lot of fun. Always trying to figure out what to wear and buying new outfits. Then going out to eat to these places that he would surprise me with. The suspense was crazy. Everyone knew at my old job it was date night on Thursdays (my mgr. would let me leave work early).

Haha that's great! The suspense would be what I hated then - but now, I kinda miss it! But, I love things much more now

aw, yeah definitely! Sometimes I just smile when I remember all those 'firsts'. You know, like our first kiss (as awkward as it was. lol). The first time he ever held my hand, our first date. There's a lot of good memories over there!! But I'm sooo glad that we're beyond that. Even though we're not sneaking around corners anymore to share one of those hidden kisses (which was really fun), life is good where we're at. Finally comfortable, ya know?

hahaha. totally agree. The suspense - or more like the nervous/excitement I'd feel when he'd call or when I'd be waiting for him to pick me up, and even just wondering when he'd try to kiss me. I couldn't handle it then, like 'Ahhh!! When will this stop driving me crazy!' lol. But i kinda miss it now.

Absolutely. The new-ness of everything was fun...like you said - the firsts. Ha, I always laugh thinking about it all!
And I'm glad to know I'm not the only one - he remembers those things but always thinks I'm silly with how I still giggle like a little kid about them. I think he really does on the inside

I even remember hearing my phone signal that I had a text msg and thinking that it would be him...ha, so funny.

yup... there's nothing like those 'butterflies' you get when you're first dating someone!!!! Don't get me wrong.. i love that me and FH are so comfy with each other and are getting married and starting a life... but of course nothing beats the excitement of when you first start dating!!!!!!!!!!!! i think a lot of ppl wanna try to keep a bit of that alive somewhere!!!!!!

Yeah...like when we were falling in love. Now it's evolved and it's better in different ways-now we live together and we're married like we talked about when we were in high school . But I still love thinking about when we started dating-that's why I love fall so much.

Aww yea I do!! I am such a mush for memories... two weeks ago we actually went back to the restaurant where we went on our first date (for the first time in 7 year)... I got teary-eyed after some wine! lol
