Both my dad and FIL live down South (FL & GA) so we were trying to come up with Father's Day gifts that we could have shipped. This was one idea, since they both love grilling, but we don't know about the quality.
TIA!

Re: Anyone ever ordered Omaha Steaks?
The steaks are AMAZING! I get them for my grandparents in Florida every year for Christmas, and FH ordered them once when they had a big sale....The filet mignon melts in your mouth! They are always running some sort of deal, I will check my emails since I get emails from them all the time. They do a great job shipping and we never had a problem with the dry ice. Enjoy!

Re: Anyone ever ordered Omaha Steaks?
My Mom got them as a gift for my DH, the filet mignons, and they were very delicious. I wish she'd do it again mmmmm Anyone I know who used them had a good experience.

We order from them all the time. In fact, we are waiting for a shipment now, and another is on its way to FIL's house for Father's Day!

Re: Anyone ever ordered Omaha Steaks?
I just got an email about this Omaha Steaks deal...
Item 4872
The Gourmet Banquet $59.99 2 (5 oz.) Filet Mignons 4 (5 oz.) Top Sirloins 4 (4 oz.) Boneless Pork Chops 4 (4 oz.) Boneless Chicken Breasts 2 (4.5 oz.) Stuffed Sole with Scallops and Crab 8 (3 oz.) Gourmet Franks 4 (4 oz.) Gourmet Burgers 10 portions Potatoes au Gratin
Plus free knives, cutting board, and steak burgers
If you are thinking steaks (while it is much more $$$), I would recommend sending a package from Peter Lugers. YUM!!
I've also had just about everything from Omaha Steaks (burgers, chicken, pork, steaks, etc) and I think it's all fine but nothing to necessarily *rave* about

Re: Anyone ever ordered Omaha Steaks?
I order from them reguarly. Mainly because they send them to you already frozen in vacuum wrapped bags. They are good to eat even three months after ordering them.
So i would order a bunch and save them and eat them when I am ready. I just ordered eight private reserve sirloins, and 12 stuffed chicken & broccoli (yum). I also got two orders of their potatos au gratin and 2 whipped sweet potatoes.
Just keep in mind once you order they may call you every so often to try to sell you something. But thats ok because if they call, you can haggle with the salesman. I got a discount on my last order, AND they shipped it for free.
