Anyone ever pick up a certified copy of a birth certificate with a raised seal for someone else?
According to the website, I have to get a letter from them stating I can pick it up for them & have it notarized.I also have to bring their drivers license. Anything else?

I want to try to get it for them without bugging their mom to go. I have to go into the city for it because they were born in Queens.

I did it. If you have their credit card number, you don't need anything else and you can order it online. It came really quickly -- they offer expedited service.

This person needs it yesterday so I have to go there. I hope I'm out of there quickly.

I picked up DHs...but having the same last name...all I needed was drivers license...
but that was from Fed Ex...it came very quickly...they could do it for themselves

I have to pick it up for them because like I said they need it right away. I'm hoping that their picture id and a letter by them notarized is all they need. I don't want to have to go back.
