Okay, I know it's a little weird I guess, but my bridal party is kinda spread out all over and it will be difficult to plan and I don't want one person to feel obligated or burdened by planning it since she's near me, and I want it to be kinda casual, maybe a barbeque - would it be kinda strange if I help plan it, in a way I feel like it would be like a engagement/bridal party, since I didn't have an engagement party when we first got engaged. What do you think??

I would help but definately not let the guest think you planned it! Someone with throw you a shower. I thought I would have a problem since my shower is in NY but I live in LA and want one here. (Greedy, I am I know!) Then my FBIL girlfriend said she would throw it! Just let people know your concerns and they will come through
