Anyone ever read 'A Simple Plan'?

I forget the author but I just finished it....it was written a while back. What a sick book!

Is it the same 'A Simple Plan' that was made into a movie with Billy Bob Thornton? About a plane wreck? If so, it was AWFUL! I didn't realize it was based on a book.

Yes! I didn't realize there was a movie made....there was a plane involved. Sick!

They found a big wad of cash on the plane, right? I think it's the same story. The movie was really boring, actually. I know it was supposed to be a statement on the sick things that greed can drive us to do, but I wasn't feeling it. It must have been the acting - I despise Billy Bob...I bet the book is better.
