Anyone ever stay at the Hyatt in Islandia on Motor Parkway? If so was it nice etc?

I did but it was back in 01' for a wedding. The rooms were nice....nothing too special but clean and big enough.

I am actually thinking of staying there the morning of my wedding. I went there a few weeks ago to check out the rooms, but I had to make an apt with the catering dept. I havent done that yet. it seemed really nice and judging by their website, the decor of their rooms seem nice.

It's nice.. simple but nice. We're prob, gonna stay there as well. Just don't get there hungry.. room service closes ends early and you'll be starved! Altho there's a great diner around the corner, lol.

I looked into a one bedroom suite there with the Amour package for the night of our wedding. That includes a welcome gift, breakfast for two and a late check out. It was $388 (that includes tax)
The one bedroom suite is not the fanciest or biggest though but we figure we are just going to pass out and sleep till noon anyhow.

We stayed there during our wedding weekend and it was very nice. I don't remember the cost, though.
I stayed at my parents' house the night before the wedding and got ready there. The suites at the hotel are nice, but might be a little small for the whole bridal party getting ready at once.
