Anyone ever tried a Hypnotist to quit smoking???

DH tried it, and it didn't work for him.
I think the patch will work best, based on what i've heard from people.

My grandfather smoked for 45 years - tried the hypnosis ONCE, and it worked immediately. He had his last cigarette on Jan 26 2004 and can no longer stand the smell.

My neighbor is a hypnotist (it's his side job - he's an adjunct aeronautical college prof!) and he always says that the key to hypnosis is that you really have to WANT to quit.

He was hypnotized to lose weight, and he lost 80 lbs in about a year.

It's safe to say I'm a believer! Good Luck w/ everything

I know, right? I really don't believe in anything like that - I always said it was alternative cr@p - but obviously, I was proven wrong.

FH's previous boss smoked for 30 years, 2 packs a day. His wife begged him to go, so he did. He had so little faith in it, he had a pack in his pocket that he knew they would ask him for & a spare pack in his car. He said he had no faith it would work, but he walked out the door there & never smoked one again (that was 7 years ago).

I guess it depends on the person & maybe the hypnotist?
