I used one and they came out pretty well. CVS develops them (Eckerd/Genovese wouldn't) and I got a set of prints and then the CD as well.

most places when you develop a camera for an extra fee will give you a cd of the pics

You can develop any set of pics at Eckert/Genovese/whatever it is now and have them put them on a cd for $4. It doesn't have to be from a digital disposable.
