I used to wear them in jr. high all the way through college, then I couldn't find them and then they popped up again. Now I did a search for them and found them on the Tretorn website and they are $60 a pair for the canvas ones. I can't believe it!!

Totally wore them in highschool. Ones with plaid accent. $60 is a lot for canvas sneakers. I usually pay that for running shoes, but those have a lot more support. But now you've made me want to go look them up and order some. I miss some of my old fashions. Like boat shoes. LOVED them in highschool too. Kind of a preppy thing.

I miss my brown leather dexter boat shoes/loafers/whatever they were. I want another pair. I had ones like these. I miss them.

I wore they in HS too!! If it wasn't my Chucks, it was Tretorns!! The company in Sweden (or whatever scandinavian country they were from), I thought went belly-up but was looking to sell the brand ...
I did notice them recently somewhere (maybe Zappos?) after I had been searching like MAD for them last year for the wedding!

They were Swedish and I think they did sell out and Etonic was sort of handling them. Now they have a website and seem to be back in business.
Maybe I want another pair. Relive my youth.
