Anyone Every do a Certificate Program

I was just wondering if anyone has ever done a Certificate Program, and if you did were you able to get a good job from it?

I am just trying to see what my options are.

no..i didnt have much luck in IT after doing a certificate program...

i even followed up with my certificate with industry standard certifcations and i still wondering why i wasted my time with learning what i learned.

do you have a degree?

I have an associates from Nassau Community College

Is it an AAS or an AA or AS? If it is an AA or AS, you could transfer all the credits to SUNY Empire State and finish a degree online or through the mail. Empire State Were you talking about the Computer Systems major at Farmingdale before? That's a good idea, but I think they did away with the option of doing it online.

That's actually the AAS. The AS is just the Associates in Science. You'll have a harder time transferring the AAS program to a 4 year degree program, because they are meant to stand alone--the AS and AA options are developed for transferring to a 4 year school. It just means a bachelor program will probably require 3 additional years even if you have 60 credits already.
