FH's dad is like oh, I forgot...blah blah blah whats his name now that the invites went out and then goes on to say but he'll give a good present and I'll cover his plate...to which I bridezilla-ish said 'OH YES YOU WILL!!!!!!!!!!!!' tonight!
What's wrong with people? Why didn't you tell me this months ago? Now in anger I have given my invite lady's email address to fh in a 'you deal with your effed up family' way.

FFIL did this and guess what?! So far one of his last minute invite additions (and their plus 1) have responded no.

I'm praying for a no because a) I dont give a flying efffffffffffffffffff about these people and b) I don't believe fh's dad's whole 'I will pay' or 'they will pay beyonfd their plate' thing...
if its people I care about I could give a flying you know what about how much they give but when you throw a 'you have to invite them even though I've probably met them twice and you'll most likely never meet them,' I have a problem!

I feel ya! I was more annoyed with the waste of an invitation and my time of addressing it. I ran each and every single envelope through my printer I just had to have the calligraphy look without the $$

I'll take the cake on this one..DH's dad added 6 coworkers ONE WEEK before the wedding...he made a big stink about how they HAD to come.................

I had my mother complain to me for 10 minutes about someone she works with, discuss how she was looking for a new job because of this person, and then TOLD ME I HAVE TO INVITE THEM.....ummm why? Because they were just invited to this persons kid's wedding even though they were hoping they wouldnt be. . . insanity

I mailed out two invites today after my mom yelled at me last night to the tune of 'Why are you doing this to me??? I promised these people invitations months ago!' But our invites went out months ago and our guestlist was finalized long before that.

I'm like ummmmmm THATS BECAUSE YOU DIDNT PUT HER ON THE LIST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
She totally forgot one of her cousins and since she has 2984019284019824 of them, I obviously wouldn't notice. I was ready to kill.
And meanwhile, why didn't she say something in FEBRUARY when I sent the Save the Dates?!?!??!!?
