Re: Anyone familiar with the Schenectady area?
Jenn - My friend moved in with her fiance, but still had her old # forwarded there and something is wrong when I call. I tried to get their other #, but no luck. I ran accros a holiday Inn and Ramada Inn in the area that is 2 minutes from the catering hall, but I dont know what they are like. She was supposed to mail me info of a place to stay, but I never heard from her. She is probably busy running around with last minute things. Does you friend live in Schenectady?

Re: Anyone familiar with the Schenectady area?
My mom's whole family lives in Schenectady, and I know when my family has gone to weddings we've stayed at the Holiday Inn in Rotterdam. I hope this helps.

Re: Anyone familiar with the Schenectady area?
Lobsterbride - The name of the place is Glen Sanders Mansion. It is in Scotia, NY.
Red30NY - Do you know the road it is on? I wonder if that is one of the choices I pulled up.

Glen sanders mansion has their own inn right there you can stay at....beautiful place! I'm going to a wedding there real soon too! There's also a Ramada Inn in Schenectady not too far away.
