Anyone feel like there is NOT enough time in the day? (vent inside)
I'm getting so overwhelmed it's crazy. I work full time and go to school full time and now with the wedding planning I feel like I cant get ANYTHING done, sometimes I realize we forgot to eat dinner(like tonight) and I find myself on here thinking I should be doing ten other things. I took a nap tonight , woke up late and wanted to cry because I wasted those hours, same when the littlest thing goes wrong( forget to stop at store or something), I break down beacuse I feel like I cant handle all this. Once we book hall( hopefully within week) and then can book DJ etc...will it get easier?
P.s FH is trying to help, keeps telling me I will have a nervous breakdown if I don't stop, tells me to 'drop something from my plate'...what? School, work , wedding...you get my point..
Thanks..needed to vent

always.
Weekends need to be a little longer. Sleep is a very important thing too. I try to get that but doesnt always seem to go to plan. Maybe tomorrow night I'll sleep
The days need to be longer and so do the weekends

I know it's a bit overwhelming, but you will be fine. Go ahead a book your big things, but don't drive yourself crazy. And one great thing I'm just now starting to learn is, ask for help! Give people a chance to help you out, they won't mind and it could take some of the pressure off of you. Have friends research your top 3 honeymoon choices, let them give you suggestions for favors, ask people for recommendations, etc... If there's anything we can do to help, let us know!

It can be a litlle overwhelming but don't forget that you have almost a year still to plan. Start with booking the vendors that you know you want so that they don't book up for your day, and then relax a little, you still have some time... you are going to give yourself a heart attack!!!LOL

I felt the same way in the beginning. Once we had the hall and the church booked I felt like I could breath. Then other day we went looking for Photographers and one we saw got me frustrated again. I didn't love their work and felt it was expensive for what they offer. I felt like everything is going to be a long frustrating process and it got me down. I'm not super picky but I know what I don't like. I just hope I don't have to visit every Photographer in the area before I find it.. Some days I feel like a manic-depressive or something. Like just now I read what I wrote and started thinking that's not how I feel today. Today the thought of visiting all the vendors for our wedding is exciting. Try not to make yourself nuts but wedding planning will drive you crazy at times.

Your rigth and Im trying. I think since we visited places today Im in that mood9 got nothing else done!) and I'm second guessing our hall choices every 6 seconds. I wish I could go on that TLC show ehre the famil/friends do your wedding for you..may turn out bad but who cares if it was stressfree...even the registering aprt ( AND I LOVE TO SHOP) was hard for me, after a 1/2 an hr , i was asking my mom to pick the stuff out because I didnt know what to pick...

Oh sweetie, you have plenty of time. Just concentrate on your halls. Narrow your search, list your top 5 that you think you're interested in and try to fit them in over a 2 week span. If those 5 don't knock your socks off, list another 5. I listed mine by reputation & price range. I was going to my favorites, but I simply couldn't afford them and it was wasting my time.
LoriH- I did comb Queens, Manhattan and Long Island looking for my photographer. I was sooooo picky- let me know if you need any help. I literally spent most of my time researching this vendor. I've got a list of about 100 w/ my thoughts. (Not that my thoughts mean much )

try getting a book & journalize yr thoughts, etc. I did it helps.
I found a cable cahannel (168) MagRak, that had sub-title 'Inside Weddings' that may also help with ideas.
I see we have the SAME wedding day March 5, 2005.
Have fun with yr planning, involve yr MOH (Lords knows i call mine with the silliest thought) even though the wedding is still a year away. Yes its normal to think abt it 24/7 but dont sweat the small stuff.
FM if u want

i started to feel that way back in OCt - thats when i got the journal. It does not have to be an everyday entry journal just when you feel too.
