anyone feel pressure to lose weight even if you really don't need to?
I am a size 6/8 depending on the brand and 5'6' and all people keep asking me is am I trying to lose weight? I don't think I need to lose any weight. Am I insane or is this happening to anyone else?

I think people assume soon to be brides are on diets and trying to lose weight for the wedding.

I don't feel pressured for the wedding, but I feel like I want to really look good for the honeymoon...Not so much in terms of losing weight, but just getting more toned. No one has said a word to me about losing weight (to my face!). I am a 6 normally too, I just want to tone my thighs for bikinis to wear during the honeymoon.

I don't feel pressure to lose weight. I only really want to stay tone and defined and maintain my weight.

I was a size 8-10 in November and i was ok with that. Once we set a date for the wedding i felt like i should tone up a bit before hand. I was never fat i was adverage size. Now i am down to a 4-6 depending on where i go. I am now happy with myself and love the way i look. My dress looks great on and i feel so glad i dropped a few and toned up a lot. I think if anyone feels the pressure of loosing weight it is the BP. All of my girls are on a diet as we speak. I guess they have the pressure because at the wedding the bride always steals the show, meanwhile the BP are all in the same dress so they want it to fit them perfect and better then the other girls.

First off, with the sudden change of a new gown that I am about to purchase this coming...Saturday. It is a size 10. For some strange reason, it was a little bit tight.
I am a comfortable size 6/8. I am 5'7' weighing 143. I would love to loose 5lbs. Primarly to fit...perfect into the dress. Not to mention, the older I get the more sloppy looking I become.

I am size 4 (5'3, ~125lbs) and I am always trying to lose 5lbs, I think I have been saying that for the past 5 years but it never seems to happen with parties, holidays and vacations. I don't feel like I really need to lose weight, rather I try to maintain my size. So when the pants start to get snug, my famous line of 'I need to lose 5lbs' comes out.

I have always been a size 6 or 8 and I know that most bridal gowns run small; but when I measured at a 10 for the dress I wanted... I went diet crazy. My first fitting will be sometime next month and I am dreading it. What's wrong with me.
