another one who went by herself...hubby knew nothing about the flowers until the wedding day.

my fh is in charge of flowers, believe or not! he is so creative that i told him to make the appts and i will go and see what he has put together.

Wow - I am surprised at the number of men who went with you to pick out flowers. It would not have been a pretty sight in our case!
I forgot to add that he had no opinion on the invitations either! But I did show him a proof before ordering them so it was almost like he was there!

My FH is a landscaper so he said he's been looking at flowers all day and didn't want to see them after work LOL
However - I showed him two pictures of bouquets and he hated one and asked that I use the other. That is about as involved as he has gotten.

FH has come to all vendor appts so far..i really wanted his input on things too..I am not the best with decisions =)...It is funny though because sometimes i am surprised because i expect him to just be like sure that looks great..whatevr you want.. but he has all sorts of his own opinions and it is funny...i feel like..you are not supposed to care about this but he does! He said the same thing someone else brought up...if he didn't come to anything whatevr i want he would have no right to say anything because he did not come..but since he is there we have to agree together which sometimes is harder (we had totally different china taste and were there for a while)..very amusing but in the end i am happy that he comes!

Mine went......he actually had requests about the flowers. He wanted bright, colorful flowers, which worked for me since the girls are wearing black. The florist looked at me as though I had about 10 heads when she was asking me questions and I told her to talk to him. The sample centerpiece game out gorgeous. I can't wait to see all of them and all the rest of the flowers!!!

he didn't come with me for when i was shopping around for a florist. he came to the 2nd meeting i had w/ john at flowers michele bc we were going to dinner afterwards and couldn't think of a better meeting place.
he wasn't all that interested but he pretended to listen - john tried to explain what was a black magic rose to him though. it was funny.

Mine did and surprisingly enjoyed it. I had already picked the color scheme and flowers before we went, but he was very helpful in picking out the centerpiece base and the bouts

my FH has not been to any vendors with me.... including the hall! if it were up to him, we would be on our way to vegas or a local justice of the peace. i guess being from small-town pennsylvania, he is just not ready for the all-out long island wedding! again, i have scenes from 'my big fat greek wedding' running through my mind!!

Mine went with me but didn't care about anyone's flowers except my bouquet and his bout (he insisted on a single closed red rose)... The rest he didn't care for and was bored. But he helped me pick out all of our other vendors

My FH only liked going to the florist because our florist, John at Flower Michele, is soooo cool!! Plus, I was driving someone else other than my FH crazy for a change.

This is the only vendor FH hasn't really liked to see so I shouldn't be complaining. He went to all the other appts I had for video, photography, limos (his fav) and reception halls.
