I need to go to Orlando on Jan 23-25, and they have the cheapest flight by $72. Any comments on this airline???

My mom lives in Myrtle Beach and we fly it all the time. They were horrible a few years ago (always late, etc) but now they are great and sometimes get in early!!! Spoil yourself and upgrade to Spirit Plus (if available) at checkin - it's 'first class' - bigger seats, a snack box & drinks.

i have taken it a few times to visit my GF in FL. i love it!!!!!!!!!!!!! no complaints at all.

I had a bad experience with a delayed, then cancelled flight on Spirit-but that was a few years ago. Since then, I've had a bad taste in my mouth...I'll search every airline first.
They do have some incredible fares, though.
I heard that AA was running some web only sales to Orlando.
Since the bad Spirit experience, we've been flying Jet Blue to Florida. No problems at all.

I only flew them once and had a very long delay, but that was in 1999

I've flown them several times to FLA and to my in-laws in NC (we fly into Myrtle Beach). I've had some delays, but what airline doesn't? It's economy and you get what you pay for meaning - you will get from point A to point B but it's not like Air FOrce One Lol! DH says next time he wants to fly Hooters Air since they go into Myrtle Beach now.
