I'm supposed to be flying out the beginning of June. But, I have yet to book my ticket. My brother swore to my sister that the tickets will get cheaper as the day approaches. But, every time I look it seems to be getting more expensive. Does anyone know if this is true or not? Should I just order my tickets now & kick myself in the arse later if he is right??

Re: Anyone fly w/ JetBlue alot???
It depends. They are sometimes Cheaper and sometimes MORE money. I really think it has to do with how many seats are booked.

BTW where are you going? We flew Delta Song to Florida and we got the most amazing deal 69.00 each way the week of easter I liked Jet Blue better only cause their seats are more comfortable. They have the TV very comparable to Jet Blue.

I usually find that they get more expensive as the day approaches. Usually if you book far in advance, you can get some amazing deals. I used Southwest last time I went to Florida and I have to say that the fact that you can print your boarding pass on the computer is VERY nice. No TVs though, which is the only stinky thing.

Exactly. When we went to FLorida we waited & got a better deal, but when we booked california, it went up.

I think when its 7 days or less before the day you want to fly the price goes up. Thats what I have noticed in the past.

Re: Anyone fly w/ JetBlue alot???
i think it really depends on if they are selling... examples that ive seen, when i went to vegas...the plane didnt sell out and got cheaper as the day came (i got a nice credit)
when i just went to san juan, it was booked solid with maybe 1 empty seat that when to sombody on standby. tickets stayed the same and/or got a few bucks more for it

They don't always get cheaper. We usually wait if they are over the normal low price but we don't wait for a sale.
One thing is that if they price goes down they will give you credit for the differene so if you'll fly them again it will come in handy.

They do? Ive never had this happen. Do you have to call them?
Something interesting about The guy who owns Jet Blue is that once a week he plays flight attendant and he also has ADD I thought that was interesting!

Re: Anyone fly w/ JetBlue alot???
I've ehad that JeyBlue was a tax writeoff originally.
it's my favorite airline. I LOVE to look at the names of the planes..
when delta launched Song airtlines, JetBlue launched a plane called 'Song Sung Blue'
I've flown both Song and JetBlue, I think it really varies as people said before. If you join orbitz, they tell you when the sales come around. I can usually fly to orlando for $69 each way, depending on the time of day, with either airline. Defintiely check out orbitz though, I always get emails with the sales.

I LIKE JET BLUE ALSO. THE TV PART IS GOOD IF YOU DONT LIKE TO FLY, LIKE MYSELD. FH ACTUALLY FOUND $49.00 TICKETS FOR SOUTHWEST SO WE WILL BE FLYING THAT IN JUNE. NO TV THOUGH

thats what I have heard too. If the flight is booked almost solid it will cost MORE, if there are a ton of empty seats they will lower the prices.

i bought tickets recently from them and they were cheaper a month later I called up and they credit me back for the amount. if they go on sale they will give you the tickets for the cheaper amount.

I'm going to Oregon. JetBlue is the only ones who fly direct. I guess I will book them & hope for the best.
