Anyone from Haverstraw or Montauk?

Curious to know if anyone from Haverstraw or Montauk, who knew Pastor Charles and Isabel Ackerman, who pastored Presbyterian Churches, in these areas, quite some time ago. Gals, perhaps you could ask Mom or Grandmom?
Also, I understand from my Grandma's notes,that
we also are connected to the Hewletts, I think from Long Island. When we are in Long Island for Daughter, Debi's wedding, I'd love to visit these places, along with the MET, as I understand there was a Hewlett Room in the American Wing, on display at one time. I have been trying to track down a Paul Borland, who supposedly married a Hewlett, from Long Island, in Revolutionary War Days. That Hewlett was connected to the Hewlett Room, at the MET. There is speculation the Borlands went to Canada, because they were Tories. Paul, was a Brother of my 3rd Great Grandfather, John Borland. I think it's neat that once again, there is a connection to Long Island, in that Debi's fiance, Fred, grew up there!!
