Anyone from Oyster Bay area? Can recommend a place for Rehearsal Dinner?
I am getting married at St. Dominick's in Oyster Bay and don't want people travelling very far to go to dinner after the rehearsal. There is nothing great in OB that I know of. Can anyone recommend anything in a nearby town (Syosset, Woodbury, Hicksville)?
Mill River Inn is too expensive and MillRidge Inn is where we go after funerals for my family (eeeks, don't want to go there!)
Thoughts?

there is the Maine Maid Inn which is very nice that is right across the street on jericho Tpke from the Milleridge.

I work at a restaurant in hicksville, the food is excellent and the service is really nice.

What kind of food are u looking for. There is Wickers on the corner of Old Country Rd and Newbridge rd in Hicksville. I might have my RD there.
There is also a nice chinese resturant Imperial Wok they are on Broadway in Hicksville. They have a nice party room and it is very inexpensive (I think it was under $15 or 20 a person).
Jani is also on Broadway in Jericho.
There is also many resturants on Jericho Tpke in Jericho and Woodbury.

My sister was married at St. Dominick's and we had her rehearsal dinner at Cafe Al Dente, great food, not too impressive looking from the outside, but they had a nice back outdoor but really inside area, really good food. There's also Canterbury Ales, but I don't know if they do private parties like that, it's very small so I don't know if they have the room. There's also the Homestead, they just renovated it and I haven't been there in a while. There's also Rothmans at the corner of 106 and 25A, great steak place. Those are all in Oyster Bay. Hope this helps.
