Anyone Fry themselves.....

Anyone Fry themselves.....

.......this weekend???? I did and boy am I hurting today. My FH and I went to the beach yesterday from 1-5 and we are fried, burnt to a crisp. I already had a pretty good tan on my face and chest, but didn't on my back and legs. My legs are now bright red, like a lobster.
But, I still love the sun, the beach and the boat so I'm sure this won't stop me from going out and doing it again. It hasn't yet!!

I feel your pain! I have been there one too many times in the past! Unfortunately I didn't burn at all this weekend! FH & I spent all day Saturday & Sunday floating around the pool! We both got some nice color!

I can't wait til this weekend when we are on vacation & getting more sun! I LOVE this time of year!

I haven't burned in a long time but the worst one I had was when I was a senior in high school and I cut class on a Friday to go to the beach. I fell asleep on my stomach and burned the back of my legs so badly that I could not bend them for days. I had to skip school again that Monday because I could barely walk.

Sorry to hear that you are extra crispy. Take some advil or tylenol to help with the pain. A cool bath helps calm down the fire and I like Gold Bond Spray too.

Sorry...I can feel your pain from one too many painful burns...vinegar helps; it takes the sting away.

We got some color this weekend..

I have to tell you since we went to Mexico in April I was able to keep my tan up so it was smooth sailing for me this weekend.
make sure you girls use plenty of ALOE!!

A few weekends ago I forgot to put sunscreen on and we were at the pool for about 2 hours!! I was burnt to a crisp on my front, but my back wasn't. It hurt for quite a few days, but I remember to put the sunscreen on now!!!

I have that great Italian skin too, but when I tan for the first time I burn. This was the first time my back and legs were out in the sun so far this summer. Then after that I just get darker and darker....I like that, so you just have to get through the initial pain.

That's funny b/c my mom was telling me to do that, but hen she told me a story. She used vinegar whe nshe was younger after a bad sunburn. People started wondering who was eating salad and asking around. She finally told them that it was her and her vinegar soaked skin. She was so embarrassed, I think I'd die...so I opted not to do that.
