ANYONE gain weight from being on Ortho Tri-Cyclen?
I have gained 20lbs in the past year....yes, I admit partly my fault.....eating! Not exercising!
I have been on OTC since 11/01. Around 11/02 I started to gain!

no. I have been on it for a while. Way over four years I haven't changed in terms of body fat.

I gained on the pill but it was Lo estrin. Ortho made me really dizzy and nauseaus.

I do not think that I have gained weight, but I think I retain more water bc my clothes used to not feel the same, but I think I adjusted to it...I feel fine on it...

I never gained any weight from Orth-tri cyclen. Just water weight when I would have my period. I've been on it about 6 years, and my dr. just changed my prescription to the Ortho-lo. I don't feel as moody on this one.

I was on OTC for four years and gained around 30 pounds. I have friends that are on it and haven't gained a pound. I guess it varies depending on the person. :)

From my understanding of Ortho Tri Cyclin (I'm on the Lo progestrone form, but I was on the regular one that you are talking about), you wouldn't gain the weight one to two years later, it would've happened early on, at least when any of my friends switched over to OTC, that's what happened.

I gained. I started BCP's in 1998 and I was on Alese. I gained a little weight but notihing drastic. I then switched to OTC a year later and over the 4 years I was on it, I gained 40 pounds (its actually a mix of both BCP's, FI's cooking and not exercising like I used too)
