Anyone get .........

nervous the day they booked their reception hall. I woke up so nervous. I think because it makes it so real. I am getting married???!!!! I was married before and swore I would never do it again.

I booked my RH almost 5 months ago and I'm still nervous!!! Congrats

Maybe that is it b/c I keep thinking about the place and the food and all the details and the things I need to get done. Plus my FMIL was there with us and complained about the day we are doing it right in the middle of our contract signing. (We are paying for everything ourselves) but I loved that one of the banquet managers said whoever really cares about you will be there no matter what day it is. We are having it on 6/23/11 which happens to be a Thursday but it's my parent's anniversary and mom my passed away and I want to get married on their wedding date.

I was mildly hungover when we went to book the RH. I was supposed to book the day before but I wanted the FH there. So yea, i def wasnt nervous - more just wanted to get it done and over with and go back to sleep!

OMG the day before I booked my RH i actually almost vomited. totally normal!

I think that is such a sweet way to honor your mom!!

I was ok at the hall, but once it was time to sign the contract, I started to sweat and I got all red, lol. I think for me, what you said is true. Booking the hall/ establishing your date makes it so official! I was very happy and very nervous too.
