Anyone get a call from Bride Registries saying they won the bridal package???

Hey, so I received a call today saying that I won a bridal package because my ticket was picked. They said I have to go to another 90 minute expo meeting to learn about all the stuff I won. I did go to the expo in Uniondale but I am so skeptical. I just wanted to know if anyone else received this call or if you went to meet these people...

I get the emails every other month or so. As rcotter90 said, it's a big ole scam to get you in the door.

I was so excited when I first got the call. Then I wrote a post on here & realized it was a scam. I was so disappointed lol

I got a call earlier this year. We almost went, but I did some research and decided not to because I was afraid it was a scam.

Wow thanks everyone for your feedback. If I dragged my FH to this thing tomorrow he would never let me hear the end of it. Definitely not going. I also googled Bridal Registries and people are slamming it as a scam as well. Thanks everyone for saving me time and a headache.

Yeah I got the same call and was asked to go to their Woodbury location and blah blah blahh. After researching the place online, I found out it was a scam. A long, time consuming scam. Glad you didn't have to go through that!
