Anyone get a cold before the wedding?

I have a horrendous cold. I feel like the constant stress has finally taken its toll on me.

take coldeeze and or airborne. it will lessen the severity of the cold.

Dh and I were BOTH sick on our wedding day. It sucked big time. He lost his voice and barely squeaked through the vows.

Take airborne!!!

I got really sick 2 days prior to my wedding with a bad cold and throat infection. I could not even think of going to my wedding like that. I used Theraflu and it really worked but I took as much as I could and surprisingly I woke up that day and felt a little rowsy and made it through the entire day with no problems. It really saved me I did not even look sick that day.

Yes, it is two weeks before my wedding and I have a sinus infection- BUT I am meds and seem to be feeling better- However, my father has shingles and I never had chicken pox- SOOOO the doctor is keeping a close eye on me although he says it is a MINIMAL chance of me getting chicken pox-he said chances are that I did have it maybe in a very small case- and I have been exposed to it most likely as well- since I am a teacher... SO I should be good to go!

Before my wedding I was walking around with hand sanitizer everywhere I went. Of course, I was married in the winter, so I was so parinoid I was going to get sick.

Just be happy you are getting sick now rather than later.

Yes, I was so sick the week before the wedding with bronchitis that my dad actually had to go and pick up my gown at the shop; I couldn't even get out of bed. I only started to feel better the morning of the rehearsal.

the week before the wedding, i woke up with a rash all over, and feeling sick as heck... throwing up, sore throat, everything....
luckily i worked at a school so i was already done for the year and basicaly just slept alot, and my parents and sis helped with all the last minute things i was supposed to be doing that week... and the day of i was perfectly fine!

as a person who works with kids, i can SWEAR by airborne... took it all winter and never got sick from all the sick kids at work.... just try and get as much rest as you can...
