good question!
Are you looking for something during the weekend. I've always had luck at car dealerships. I have a second job during the weekends as a receptionist. Its simple and stressfree and they usually pay more than minimum wage. Plus you dont have to work at night.
I am sure you heard this one before, but we are doing ebay.....my apt looks like a warehouse.
I waitress on night a week (sunday night). I took off most of the summer though.
I'm looking for a part-time job now.
What do you do on ebay? Buy things, then try to sell them for more? Is that profitable? Where do you buy things and what do you buy?
My friend works at OTB in manhattan & she said they advertise in Newsday alot. They need people to take phone bets and have weekend and evening hours always available - best part - it pays $12 per hour to start + overtime on holidays & Sundays.
I had to get another job also, it is not everyday, but i am so tired all the time. We are paying for the wedding ourselves so it has been really stressful. I want to try and get into that ebay stuff, i just dont know how to do it
lol, I have three!!!!!!!!!!!!! Real Estate is big on weekends, I do it, just as a secretary. Its easy and usually off the books so its straight cash into your wedding fund!
I work at Bath & Body Works usually just on Sundays for a few hours. It gives me some extra money...for gas, etc. ya know. But I have to remember not to spend when I'm at the mall!!!!
I work at a real estate office on the weekends. Six hours each day.
I waitress as many nights as I can squeeze in!
i tutor after school 2 days a week.
I am hoping to teach gymnastics for an extra couple (actually many) of bucks starting in the fall (I couldn't find a gym to hire me for summer evenings - they all wanted daytime hours b/c the kids are off from school and many have 'camp' programs, but I need my job that provides health insurance, which gyms generally do not). I'm very concerned about being tired too. With my day job (that I hate) I'm already tired and stressed all the time! I love gymnastics though. Also, I stopped going out to lunch and put about $200 a month away... got a change sorter too for the loose change... it does add up! We are basically paying our own way too - and I have expensive taste I'm realizing.
I want a second job, it's tough because of school though. I am looking at my credit load and freaking out a bit. Believe it or not though, I am putting $535.00 per mo out of my reg pay check into a 'wedding acct'. I am not paying rent yet though. Still have another year before I do, so anything I can I put away. I would love to get a job that gives me health ins...that would be another $200 back into my pocket every mo. As is, I'm trying to work out my schedual to take on more hours. Considering going onschool's health ins policy to save a little more. Also doing the change thing too. My FH just gave me a jar of his to count, and MrsPtobe is right...it adds up!
