Anyone get married at the Garden City Hotel??

I looked at it this weekend and LOVED IT! Anyone have any feedback? Positive or Negative...anything would be greatly appreciated!

I wasn't married there, but have been to affairs there.. They do a BEAUTIFUL job.. The food was plentiful and everything looked beautiful!

Yes, good food.. Yes, they seemed to know what they were doing.. lol seems like a funny thing to ask.. lol

lol, sorry, I am paranoid about picking the wrong reception site...

It makes me a little weary that they don't just do weddings in that room. When we went to see it it was set up for a wedding and looked GORGEOUS! But when I go to the website and look at the Grand Ballroom it is set up as a conference room.

Kim,

FI grandparents are very close friends with the owners of the hotel. We go there all the time for dinners etc. They really do make beautiful affairs....I have seen weddings and have been to big banquet dinners there. Just from what I have heard from them talking is they put a lot of work into every aspect of the grounds, facilities and food.

Let me know if you have any specific questions. I may be able to get you more answers.

I think the Garden City Hotel is very expensive....like at least $225 per person. That might be one of the reasons not many people have gotten married there...but if I could, I would...the place is GORGEOUS!

Thanks so much girls! I am going to make an appointment so both our parents can see the place. Only FI and I went this past weekend. Hopefully I can make it for a Sat. morning when there is a wedding so they can get the full effect.

my friend used to work there. She was a manager. She said when they do weddings the bride and groom get treated like royalty. She said they are the priorirty and the staff makes sure their day is truely the best day of their lives.

Yeah, thats what the lady told us on Sat. when we went to look. Even on their website it tells you all the bridal services, it looks wonderful.
