Re: Anyone get the custom made M&M's for favors?
I'm having them for my engagement party. I think they are adorable! How many bags you buy depends on what you are putting them in. I bought little silver tins with clear tops to put them in. I figured it out by getting the tins first, then I bought a bag of m&m at the drug store (which I think is about 1.5 oz) and filled the tins to see how many one bag would fit into. Then just do the math and figure how many oz.s total you need and order the customized ones. (Hope that makes some sort of sense).
I hope this helps!

I'm getting the light purple ones and filling them in a glass jar for my wedding favor. I was going to get them customized, but decided that since the price was double, I would just get them plain. I had to step back for a second and say how important is it that are names are on the candy? cute, but not worth it for me. Here's the jar I'm using, I'm tying an organza bow with a tag around it.
I agree - I'm going to buy M&M's on sale after V-Day or Easter on sale

When you go on the site to order them there is a place with recommendations.

Can you buy M&Ms (all one color) at a store or do you have to order them?

I'm not sure who it was, but someone posted a link awhile ago to a bulk candy place that actually sold them cheaper than the m&m site. Maybe if you do a search you will find it...

I had them as one of my wedding favors. They were such a hit. Depending on what you are putting them in depends on how many you need to order. I put them in a small tulle bag and i ordered 15 bags for 150 people. Any questions FM me. I called the 800# and the girl helped me choose on how many to order.

The m7ms website tells you how many. We are having 80 people and have to get 2 5 pound bags. Yikes!
I am not getting the ones with messages. Jst the ones with certain colors. And yes, they are a bit pricey.

Re: Anyone get the custom made M&M's for favors?
I broke it up a little i had ordered 10 bags of written on M&Ms and then i ordered 5 plain white M&Ms to cut cost but I thought it was one of the cheapest routes to go when it comes to favors.
