At first I thought it was a waste of money-- but, I kinda like how they give you all the forms and you don't need to be bothered with running around and getting all the info...

I actually did get that - however - never even used it. I found I was able to do everything easily, either over the phone - or in person.

I didn't because you can print all the forms from online that you will need to change your name with DMV and social security and anything else (credit card companys vary in what they require)

I got it because I have an even more complicated situation... I am my father's power-of-attorney as well. Not only do I have to change my name on my license, prof. licenses, college transcript (many schools), retirement accounts, investment accounts, savings, checking, but I have to do this for all of my Dad's accounts, doctor's etc. He lost the ability to read and write when he had his stroke so I do ALL paperwork for him.
I'm not exaggerating when I say I doubt there is a bride out there who has to notify as many people as I do. Just for him... Medicare, 12 doctors, his lawyer, 2 banks, investment company, all of his bills and I know I am forgetting some.

I bought it for my sister, she told me it was a waste of money and I should not bother buying it for myself because it would be a waste of money. Changing my info was not hard at all.

Just to add another vote for 'it's a waste of money' I'm less than a month past my wedding and have managed to change everything already. It wasn't hard at all. This of course is not the case for everyone though!!
