Anyone get their BM dresses at RK?

Good experience / bad experience?

The reviews are so mixed.

i did and so did many other girls on here

i had a great experience...the dresses we liked were $256 w/o tax and with their no frills we got the dress for $186. It was real easy. We went on a weekday bc weekends are crazy there but on a weekdays its empty. We had all the time we wanted, we were able to try on as many dresses as we wanted. We picked out the dress, the lady explained how the no frills program worked and that was it. Dresses are taking 2 months to come in from time we ordered

Thats awesome. I have to go on a weekend and im a little worried about it. I know RK is supposed to be good, i just dont want to be turned off if the customer service isnt great.

well on a weekend you wont really get much personal service. I had to go one day on a weekend with the JR. bridesmaid bc she wasnt able to go during the week. When you get there on a weekend you put your name on a list. Then you have to wait for your name to be called to go into the dressing room. During that time you can go around and pick dresses off the rack. Problem was that we picked the jr bridesmaid dress right away so basically just had to stand around and wait for our names to be called. Plus you only get 30 mins in the dressing room on weekends. The whole process of us looking at the dresses and waiting for the dressing room, then after looking at swatches for the designer took an hour BUT we also picked dress right away so thats why it was easier. If you can do it after work i strongly suggest it

thats what i did, i asked my girls to meet me after work at RK...i also explained how its like on a weekend so it was fine. The problem is that each group so your whole bp would get only 1 dressing room and 30 mins, but if you go on a weekend then put more than just one of your names on the list so you can use more than 1 dressing room

I also had a great experience ordering my BM dresses at RK Brial. Same as Denise- I did the no frills and the dresses were much less $$. Only one of my BM's came with me to order (other girls tried on the dresses at other bridal stores since they live around the country) and wrote their measurements down. I ordered all 6 dresses in person and they took a little over 2 1/2 months to come in. They were very helpful too & huge selection. Would highly recommend for BM dresses.... GOOD LUCK!

What I did was go to another bridal store and try on dresses. Then I got the style # and called RK and asked them if they had it. It was like $100 cheaper. What is the 'no frills' program?

you get the dress for even less money but you dont get alterations done there.

I've used RK bridal for all of my friends weddings as well for mine. They are easy to deal with. We've always done the 'No Frills' and the dresses have alway come on time or earlier. I love that they have a HUGE selection and the prices are the lowest that I've seen compared to other places.

My girls got theirs there. I've also bought many BM dresses there for other weddings i was in. I highly recommend them. Great selection and the prices can't be beat.

BUT, if you're looking to be waited on and tended too, this may not be the place for you. They are very nice there and very helpful, but it's not a fancy bridal salon so they don't wait on you and bring you dresses. You pick out and hold the dresses on you until you can try them on. Weekends are nuts too. I like it that way cause I hate to be bothered by salespeople and to have to make appts., but some people don't like that.

I ordered my dress and my Bm dresses. I love RK, I couldn't decide between 2 shades of green and must have changed my mind at least 10 times. They were so nice and accomodating with all my madness. the no frills program is awsome. Some of my girls are getting thier dresses from RK and some are using the no frills program.

i got mine at RK too....the girls tried on the dresses at a bridal salon in LI. then i just called in with the style # and was able to send the order via fax. I saved about $60 on the dress and we are gettin them altered in our neighborhood for real cheap....I got them shipped to FMIL in PA to avoid sales tax. They came in 5 weeks!!! Everything was so smooth and they were very helpful. They called me to confirm the colors and everything and answered my annoying questions. I would definitely recommend them! HTH

Not only did I have a great experience with RK, the customer service was by far the best Ive dealt with. I did the no frills, online. They matched the best price and beat it by 5%! The dresses came in only 3 weeks too!!!

Not only did I get my BM dresses there, I got my flower girl dresses and my gown there as well. They have been amazing. I picked up my BM dresses last week and they look awesome. I don't like stuffy bridal salon's (I went to Kleinfelds and hated it) so thats why I love this place. As many said though, if you want the ritzy salon feel this is not the place. Great selection & I've found them to be very reliable and helpful.
