Anyone getting a Day of Coordinator?

Hey ladies,

Just wondering if anyone is hiring a DOC? If so can anyone recommend one? I'm not sure what i am doing yet

Same here. Need to make sure I have all the basics covered before I decide. Tricky thing is that a lot of people already seem to be booked!

I didnt get a DOC, I have a planner but I LOVE her and swear by her already. She has been a huge help in keeping me on track and has ideas whenever I have a fear about something happening.

I hired her as my DOC....she's already helped with things, despite me only hiring her for day of. I have so much confidence in her!!

I 'm using Laura from LA Productions...love her...vendor on here..she always gets rave revues too

I am using Perfect Wedding Planner. They have been good so far and I am sure they will be great the day of.

I did! I have no extra $$ either, but it was a lot more inexpensive then I thought. I got Christine from Exquisit Affairs and shes awsome. I just dont want to sweat the small stuff the day of.

i couldn't afford one so i asked a close friend of mine if she would do it...she is the type for the job andi am confident in her handling things

wow-- I feel so stupid, what does a DOC do? Just oversees everything? Isn't that what a Banquet manager should do? What is the DOCs job? And if you don't mind my asking-- what does that cost-- abllpark-- maybe I should get one!
