I do. Im lucky that I have such a low key job, though. I work part time as a receptionist on weekends. The only thing that bothers me is that I work 7 days a week. But I keep telling myself its all worth it for the wedding I want!!! Once you get into the swing of things, its not that bad.

I didnt but I went from not having to work and being a stay at home mom to going back to work part time to help out with the wedding expenses.

I thought about it but there was no way I could fit it into my schedule. I was already working over 50 hours a week and then grad school on top of that and I would spend all day sitting for my sister's kids while she was at work. However, you should look into babysitting - most get $10 + per hour and it is off the books.

I tried that working at MACYS over the holiday's I couldn't take it I quit after about a month. I was just too tiered I had no time to myself or to spend with my FH who I can't go a day without seeing so I had to quit!

i worked a second job waiting tables for five months and it helped a lot. it was more than part time because i was working nearly 40 hours a week there, sometimes 40 or more, and i was exhausted, and missed my friends, but i paid for a lot of stuff in cash, including everything for christmas and it helped. but don't get me wrong, i just quit and was very happy to be back to one.

just wanted to add, i saw your other post, and i know how you feel. FI and I both own our own condos here, which are together over your 400k amt, and we rent out his, but even so, paying mortgages, taxes, and weddings costs is tough...hence the second job!

I'm gonna be student teaching full-time from Feb - June, and taking grad classes on top of that. I'm not going to be working at all, unless I can find a 'little' part-time job. My FH is going to be paying my bills during that time. It's going to be hard with the wedding comming up!!

I sold Pampered Chef for a few months. It was fun, I made like $2,500 and then I quit. But it was such a big help and I did it whenever I could and I got all my kitchen stuff for free

Yup, sure do....I work p/t at Roosevelt field.
I took the job during the holidays to make some extra $$$ and Im happy I did because there was no way I was going to make it thru the holidays with that expense and trying to save for the wedding. Then my FH got hurt on the job that put him in disability for a month. That hurt us too since any OT and extra $$$ was not happening so I had to make up for it.
Im still working there, they asked me to stay and I do that 3x wk. Its fun and easy and gives me something to do while he is at work.

Putting $$ away is so hard and I hope that I dont run into not having enough by wedding. We are doing this all by ourselves.
