That's a lot of time in between...so it's up to you. Maybe get in touch with your limo company and ask them how much time they allot to get to and from old westbury - so you can figure out if it's worth it. I LOVE the photo studio - we're going to do some Family Feud poses with the fainting couch - they won't be traditional really!

Fox Hollow told me we could only use the photo studio, etc. for 1 and half hours prior to my event.

I am going to old westbury gardens for this reason.

They told me it would depend on if they have something else booked for that room earlier - but as of the moment - they have another party that will NOT be using the studio... I will be calling them to confirm when the date is closer...

I'm just doing my pictures there. It's really pretty with all the gardens, inside, the studio etc... lots of places for beautiful photos.

i'm worried about whats gonna happend IF it rains, then the other party will want to use all the same places too!

That is why I am going to Old Westbury also - since its Feb, the outdoor areas won't work for me and I didn't want ALL my photos from the studio.

Old Westbury ranges in prices depending on when you go there (around $300 - $500) and we got a limo to take us there (you pay extra if you have more than 4 cars)

we plan on taking our photos there, and across the street at the park.

if it rains... well, we're screwed b/c my date/hall twin will prob want to take pics inside as well...
so i dunno what we'll do.

So after the ceremony before the CH go to old westbury gardens. Planting Fields of Oyster bay are also nice too. I'm getting married at Fox Hollow and the reception will be right after so I'm probably not going to another picture location.

Is Old Westbury open in Feb? I thought it closes for the winter.

The indoors is open. That is what we are using.

We are doing our pictures there. The gardens are pretty! And they told me that if it is raining I can go in the winter garden pavillion to do pics before my ceremony.

Random question... is it true that unless you use the garden terrace room you cannot use of the gardens on the side towards the back of the fox hollow? Meaning the ones right outside of the garden terrace room.. not the one in the front with the carriage and the gazebo... just wondering.. its something I heard...

They told me that you'd be on that side and I'd have the other side, next to the Inn, and pretty sure we can both use the gazebo and carriage. I think you can use whatever as long as there isn't another party there. Though I don't know how it works when there are 3 weddings at one time.

I was just going to take pics at Fox Hollow but then I found out there were three weddings going on that night. Now I am afarid there will be way to much going on and we won't have enough time before our guest show up. We might try the park across the street.
