Were you able to book your church this far in advance?
I had called my church the day after we booked the RH and they told me they don't even have the book prepared for 2011 yet. I would really like to get the church booked as soon as possible because I want to guarantee the I have my date.
Anyone else have a problem?

Yes, you should be able to book this far in advance. I booked the church in April. Our priest said he didnt have a 2011 book yet but that he would put it in back of the 2010 book.
I'm surprised they don't have a 2011 book yet, depending on the wedding date some 2011 weddings are less than two years away.

I booked my church in August and they didn't have a problem booking it this early. I don't think they had a 2011 book yet either, but they put me down for the date I want.

I think when I get back from vacation I am going to give the church a call and have them at least mark down my date if they still don't have the book yet.

We booked our church more than 2 years ahead of time(basically right after we got engaged)....they also told us they did not have the 2011 book out yet...but still reserved our date and told us we would be the first wedding in the book when they finally got one

my RH actually doesn't even have their 2011 book out yet. They still let me book. What I did was find out the exact day that they expected it to be out and I planned to book that very first day. However when I went in person, my BM just put us in the back of her 2010 book and took our deposit

i booked my church in January and they already had a 2011 book we were the first couple in the 2011 book.

We are a month after you & we booked out Church in April. I They should let you with in the next few months maybe?..they did that to me though too I think when I tried in January they told me to try back in the spring time because they didn't have the 2011 book yet either..so maybe try back in december?

My fiance is very involved in his church and we had heard that this may be a problem, but we're going to find out this weekend. I'd love to just book it to get it out of the way, but it's not unheard of for the church to refuse to book more than a year out from what I've been told.

We are getting married July 3rd 2011 and booked our church at the August. They didn't have the 2011 book yet but they still let us save our date and they put it in the 'back of the book'. Make an appointment and ask them about this- maybe it will help.

We booked our church about 2 months ago, they actually already had the 2011 book.

I booked my Church in July, they didnt have a 2011 book. But like everyone else wrote it down in the back of the 2010 book. They already called us for the FOCOUS test & PRECANA!!! AHHHHH

We were able to book our church 2 months ago and there were already people getting married our weekend!
